There are no restrictions as to who may acquire goods from the store as its primary goal is to relieve the stigma of poverty and conserve the earth through recycling. Donations for the thrift store are accepted, except for mattresses or large furniture items such as appliances and large tables.

Sioux Falls has three skate parks: Drake Springs Skate Park, Kuehn Park, and Barb Iverson Skate Plaza. Only skateboards, inline skates, and BMX bikes allowed. No other wheeled devices of any kind are allowed within the skate park. Availability of skate parks in the future may be dependent on patrons' compliance with the following: Skate at your own risk as parks are not supervised and users assume all risks inherent in the use of these facilities.
