Support and stability are necessary for successful long term transitions out of human trafficking situations.

The purpose of the Office of Emergency Management is to provide workable plans to keep the continuity of federal, state, and local governments during time of disaster or extreme emergency. Accordingly, the Emergency Management Office conducts hazard analysis and develops and updates plans for emergency preparedness, response, recovery, and hazard mitigation. Specifically, the office establishes, implements, maintains, tests, and evaluates operational systems for responding to emergencies. This means that it is the responsibility of the Office of Emergency Management to coordinate response and recovery activities of departments and organizations involved in providing emergency services, and it is also in charge of a large number of volunteers who are used in providing these services. The office is the principal source of information on emergency management, including the identification of training needs and developing and providing training programs. Finally, the Emergency Management Office assists all county agencies in obtaining surplus governmental properties. County Emergency Managers can make contact with volunteer fire departments located within the County/townships and ambulance services.

The CASSP Dental Van provides dental care to under-served children 0 up until their 22nd birthday who meet the following requirements: Do not have a current dental home Have not seen a dentist in 2 years or more in the Aberdeen Area No child is turned away for inability to pay These children are those with the highest need for dental care and have the least amount of resources. This mobile dental unit provides preventive, diagnostic, and restorative services. No child is turned away for inability to pay. However, if their family or guardian have any type of dental insurance, it will be billed by the Delta Dental Mobile Program. An adult must accompany any child seen for dental care as consent must be given for the staff to work with the child. The Dental Van is a mobile unit that travels to communities around the state. This van is in Aberdeen only on specified dates which varies year by year.

Farm Service Agency (FSA) handles many federal farm programs and makes agricultural and commodity loans. FSA provides financial assistance to producers who have suffered from natural disasters. Disaster assistance is available for a wide variety of disaster event, including but not limited to flooding, winter storms, drought, tornado, fire and other natural disasters that have adversely impacted producers. FSA disaster assistance encompasses livestock death losses, damaged or destroyed feed supplies, crop production losses, loss of grazing land, farmland rehabilitation, restoring water supplies, emergency loans and other disaster aid.
