The client must provide: Notice of action from Minnehaha County or Lincoln County disconnection notice proof of income includes the following: Wages, self-employment, Child Support, Alimony, Social Security, SSI, SSI State Supplement, BIA GA, TANF-Food Stamps, Unemployment, Worker's Compensation, Section 8, Veteran's Benefits, Retirement, Pensions, Annuities, Dividends, Rental Income, Tribal Lease, Per Capita Income, Prizes, Money from Family or Friends, and/ or all other sources of income for all persons living in the home. Picture ID for all adults in the household Social Security numbers for everyone in the household Name and date of birth for all children in the household

Provides health and fitness services in order to lower the rate of diabetes and other diseases on the Lake Traverse Reservation. Services include zumba, circuits, Move and Munch, step aerobics, personal trainers, nutrition counseling by a registered dietitian, health snacks available for purchase, walking and running club, classes for individuals that are pre-diabetic, and adult weight management for individuals with diabetes.

Providing prescription and over the counter medication services, infusion therapy, intravenous medication, and supply a wide range of retail supplies. Most Avera Pharmacy locations have a medication disposal site available.

Pharmacy services include immunizations, prescription refills, health screenings, and a medication disposal drop box. - Medication disposal drop-boxes for expired, unused or unwanted controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter medications, including pet medications. Items that are NOT accepted include: trash, regulated medical waste, sharps, syringes, thermometers, hazardous waste, aerosols, illicit drugs, or commercial waste.

Library provides materials, programs and services to residents of all ages in Freeman and the surrounding community to assist in their pursuit of information and resources to meet their educational, professional and personal needs. Particular emphasis is placed on delivering quality reference services and providing popular materials of high interest to the residents of the Freeman community. The library also serves to stimulate young children's interest and appreciation for reading and writing. This location also offers Driver's License and ID card renewal for currently license holders. The Bookmobile is dedicated to bring the library to those unable to come to one of the library branches. Bookmobile service is provided to children at schools and daycares in Minnehaha County. The staff also coordinates the Daycare Delivery Service in Sioux Falls. The Bookmobile is parked at the Crooks branch of the library and the staff there organize the program. The Governors House program provides reasonably sized, pre-built energy efficient affordable homes to income-qualified individuals and families. This home is designed to provide ownership opportunities where income levels may have prevented previous homeownership. The simplified home design, in conjunction with the Governor's Inmate Training Program, keeps the cost of these homes affordable.

The Finance Department is responsible for controlling, supervising and maintaining the accounting system for all departments and offices of the municipality according to state statue.
