Stop It Now! National Helpline offers a national toll-free confidential phone line, email service, and chat line for people who have questions or concerns about child sexual abuse. The helpline provides a place for concerned individuals to talk through a situation and explore the available options as well as gather information. The helpline is confidential and caller id is not utilized. The helpline receives inquiries from people sexually abusing children, people at risk to abuse, family/friends of abusers, family/friends of victims, family/friends of adults at-risk to abuse, adult survivors, as well as general information requests.

Provides specific training programs to assist the community with violence prevention including: It's Our Business: developed for use in small- to mid-size businesses. Attendees learn how to prevent domestic violence and sexual assault/harassment in the workplace, as well as offering support to coworkers who have experienced violence in their lives. Safe Bars: hospitality staff are trained to spot sexual harassment and appropriate interventions. Little Navigators: trained therapists provide trauma-informed education to childcare facilities, support children in developing their social skills with peers and adults and development of feeling identification and expression, and provide on-site individual and group play-based therapy services.

24-hour emergency shelter for women and children that provides crisis services for rape victims, child abuse victims and their non-offending family members, family members of homicide victims, adults molested as children, and victims of elder abuse. To educate, advocate for and empower survivors of domestic abuse and violence (as well as coercive control, human trafficking, sexual assault, dating abuse and violence, child abuse, adults molested as children, other victims of violence crimes, stalking and elder abuse) and their dependents. Engages communities in promoting no tolerance of domestic abuse and violence. Services include answers crisis calls 24/7 and follow ups with victims, Gives referrals and maintains a Shelter Safe House in Redfield (7 beds for up to 10 victims), Assists victims in finding attorneys, obtaining protection orders, attending court, and working with law enforcement. Also assists victims find jobs and housing to work towards independent living and works as medical advocates by accompanying victims to the hospital when obtaining medical assistance for injuries or sexual assault. Brings awareness to help prevent acts of violence by speaking to church groups and civic organizations as well as presentations in all 7 public schools in the tri-county area to teach awareness of bullying and safe dating to 8th graders and safety when starting college to high school seniors.

The hotline offers free and confidential counseling to sexual assault victims 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by connecting callers to the nearest rape crisis center, anywhere in the nation. The Wholeness Center provides shelter and support services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services include immediate 24-hour shelter and crisis hotline, crisis intervention, Legal advocacy: assistance in obtaining domestic abuse and stalking protection orders, and courtroom advocacy, medical advocacy, referral services: assistance in accessing community resources, i.e., housing, employment, financial needs, public education and outreach, information packets, and limited financial assistance. All services are free and confidential. The Wholeness Center is a member program of the South Dakota Network Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault.

Children's Home Society is intentional and proactive in its efforts to stop the cycle of child abuse and domestic violence through education, consultation, advocacy and awareness. Statewide training and prevention events are offered throughout the state to professionals, as well as the general public. Topics include recognizing and responding to child abuse and domestic violence, how to handle child abuse disclosures, trauma and ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) education, healthy relationships and dating violence for teens, Enough Abuse training, and free community trainings. Trainings can be customized to the needs of the individual or organization.

The CWOY Support Navigator program is designed to provide support for American Indian youth, adults, and their families in the He Sapa area who struggle with suicidal thoughts or behaviors. The WPRC seeks to divert or delay those we serve from substance use and other high-risk behaviors to promote choices/behaviors resulting in lifelong mind and body wellness. The WPRC primarily focuses prevention support services to stakeholders in South Dakota's 22 westernmost counties, but often serves an even broader audience. The WPRC's services include providing education, technical assistance, training and other support to prevention service providers, youth, parents, educators, community groups, social service providers, health/wellness agencies, chemical dependency service providers, law enforcement and other community wellness stakeholders. WPRC staff can provide community education and information on a broad range of prevention topics. These topics include: - Individual drugs (alcohol, nicotine, vaping, marijuana, methamphetamine, fentanyl, etc.) - Trends in drug use - Over the counter drug misuse - The science of chemical dependence (brain and body) - Risky behavior marketing - 988/211 Helpline usage The WPRC maintains a traditional library of books and other media relating to prevention, health and wellness.
