HIV Positive Services | City of Sioux Falls Health Department

The Ryan White Part C program helps HIV positive people who live in Eastern SD to access primary health care. All patients who apply for the Part C Program will have access to case management services. The case managers help people with HIV/AIDS find services they need such as medical care, health insurance assistance, assistance with paying for medications, financial help, food/nutrition assistance, housing, referral to substance use treatment programs and/or mental health services, transportation, and other types of services. The Part C Program is a payer of last resort. The CASSP Dental Van provides dental care to under-served children 0 up until their 22nd birthday who meet the following requirements: Do not have a current dental home Have not seen a dentist in 2 years or more in the Aberdeen Area No child is turned away for inability to pay These children are those with the highest need for dental care and have the least amount of resources. This mobile dental unit provides preventive, diagnostic, and restorative services. No child is turned away for inability to pay. However, if their family or guardian have any type of dental insurance, it will be billed by the Delta Dental Mobile Program. An adult must accompany any child seen for dental care as consent must be given for the staff to work with the child. The Dental Van is a mobile unit that travels to communities around the state. This van is in Aberdeen only on specified dates which varies year by year.
