​Almost every day, the Delta Dental Mobile Program's dental staff sees a child who is in pain because of untreated dental disease. These are children who, for a variety of reasons, have been unable to access adequate dental care. United Way & Volunteer Services partners with Delta Dental of SD to bring the Delta Dental Mobile Program to Yankton each spring to offer no cost dental care to children ages 0-21. **Pre-registration is required to participate. Registration deadlines vary.

Coordinates dental services free of charge to the elderly, disabled, or medically compromised individuals who qualify for the program.

Provides necessary dental care at no cost to youth ages 0 - 21. The Watertown Area United Way sponsors a one week visit in the summer and provides funding for the fall visit.

Delta Dental's mobile truck provides quality care to children from first tooth through age 21 who can't afford or access a dentist. Service is provided at no cost to the family, and no insurance is necessary. The van travels to different communities, and is not an ongoing service (typically happens 1 or 2 times a year at a location).

The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribal Health Department is a full range ambulatory facility serving Native American people living in or near Moody County. Services include medical, dental, pharmacy (Prescription Assistance - Enrolled members of a Native American tribe can get free prescriptions by visiting their local IHS), Optometry, wellness center, diabetes program, behavioral health, physical therapy, full scale lab services, and radiology.

Featured health services include cancer care, blood diseases and disorders, brain and spine care, dentistry, emergency and trauma, heart and vascular care, infectious disease and public health, laboratory, nutrition, pain management, pregnancy and birth, Radiology and imaging, respiratory and pulmonary care, sleep medicine, surgery, telemedicine, therapy and rehabilitation, wellness and preventive care, women's health, and wound care.

Falls Community Health is a family practice medical clinic and dental clinic with emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention. The Community Health Center was established in 1979 with its goal being to remove the barriers, primarily financial, that exist and limit the access of lower income individuals or families seeking primary health care services.  ​Services for the general public include family health, lab radiology, well-child care, immunizations, family planning (including birth control, STD screening and treatment), patient education, and dental care. Services for established clinic patients include outpatient mental health and substance abuse counseling, psychiatry services, transportation assistance (transporter of last resort), and pharmacy assistance to clients of the Falls Community Health Care Clinic.

Services include 45 bed hospital, emergency room, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Surgical, Dental, and Prescription Assistance. Enrolled members of a Native American tribe can get free prescriptions by visiting their local IHS.

Offers free dental appointments for those 21 years old and younger.

Dentistry With Heart offers one day of free dental services including a choice of extractions, cleanings or fillings for those 18 or older who can't get dental care elsewhere.

Services provided include: ambulatory clinic, laboratory, X-Ray, pharmacy, dental unit, public health nursing, diabetes care, fitness program, mental health services, and optometry services. Specialty care clinics available: cardiology, wound care, OBGYN Prescription Assistance - Enrolled members of a Native American tribe can get free prescriptions by visiting their local IHS.

Horizon Health - Yankton Medical offers Medical care (behavioral health, geriatric, chronic care management, DOT physicals, physical exams, family medicine, maternal health, family planning, sexually-transmitted disease testing, nursing, health education, immunizations, preventative services, well child exams, acute care, immunizations, lab/x-ray, and women's health). Also offers Certified Application Counselors for the Health Insurance Marketplace. Horizon Health - Yankton Dental offers dental care services include cleanings, dental exams, bridges, crowns, dentures, digital x-rays, emergencies, extractions, fillings, mouth guards, partials, root canals, sealants and spacers.

Provides nursing facility and short-term rehabilitation care in a home-like environment with individualized care plans. Services include but are not limited to 24-hour nursing care, wound care management, nutrition services, safety systems, pain management, recreational activities, in-house pet therapy, physical/occupational/speech therapy, and restorative therapy. Also provides memory support, hospice, respite care services.

Horizon Health - Wessington Springs Medical is a full-service medical clinic offering the following services - preventative screenings, acute care, chronic care management, well child visits, men's and women's health, immunizations, family planning, lab/x-ray, patient education, care management, DOT exams, after-hours access to care, and Certified Application Counselors for the Health Insurance Marketplace. Also offers behavioral health services: medication management, counseling, case management, integrated care, addiction services, and Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT). Healthcare and emergency dental care for underinsured and uninsured residents of the Northern Black Hills (ages 19-64) who meet qualifying income guidelines and do not qualify for Medicare, Medicaid, and Veteran's Assistance. Works with 7 pharmacies in Belle Fourche, Deadwood, Lead, Spearfish and Sturgis.
