Understanding Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder: For children ages 5 - 11 and their birth, foster, or adoptive parents. While the parents or parenting team is involved in education, supportive discussion and training, the children will gather in a separate group to work on developmental and behavioral issues. - Mental Health First Aid Trainings: Offered periodically. Participants are taught to assess for risk of suicide or harm; listen non-judgmentally; give reassurance and information; encourage appropriate professional help; and encourage self-help and other support strategies. - Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainings: Offered periodically. Residential behavioral/group care program for abused and neglected youth offers youth 24-hour supervision. Cedar Village Assisted Living Facility is a therapeutic place designed to provide permanent supported housing for individuals who are homeless because of severe and persistent mental illness.

Provides residential treatment, foster care, special education schooling and independent living services to South Dakota children between the ages of 7 and 23. Program offers an array of therapeutic services in Mitchell and Rapid City including 45 bed psychiatric residential treatment facility for girls ages 7 to 17 (housed in Mitchell), Evidenced Based Trauma Informed programming, special education schooling, individual therapy, group therapy, alcohol and drug treatment, and independent living skills.
