NE Prevention Resource Center | Human Service Agency

Offers access to resources such as training, videos, curricula, and books on topics surrounding the issues of alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, and violence related issues. Training and resources are offered around mental health first aid and suicide prevention. Provides services to 21 counties in the N.E. region of South Dakota. Also, has opioid prevention resources such as DisposeRX packets, medication lock boxes, and Naloxboxes.

Outpatient Services | Lewis & Clark Behavioral Health Services

Outpatient Services - Individual therapy (for mental health or substance use), Family therapy, Group therapy, Medication management, Psychological assessments and testing, Commitment evaluations, Nursing home consultations, and 24-hour a day crisis intervention via crisis line. Walk in assessments available during regular business hours at the Yankton and Vermillion locations. CARE Club - Program for individuals with a mental health disability (i.e. schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety and borderline personality) who live in the community. CARE club provides support, assistance, interaction with others and the opportunity to improve consumers existing skills and develop new coping skills. Children's Services - Provides child centered therapeutic services in the home or office. This program provides mental health services to children with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). The parents, families, and surrogate families of children with SED participate in all aspects of evaluation, planning and delivery of services. Works closely with child-serving agencies and programs.

Mental Health services include individual, couples and family counseling, 24-hour QMHP services, psychiatric evaluations and medication management, school consultations, and employee assistance programs (EAP). Alcohol and Drug Program treatment approach is based on the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous and reality therapy. Services offered include individual counseling, chemical assessments, DUI education program, outpatient treatment, prevention education program, and a relapse prevention group. Case Management and IMPACT Programs, designed to help clients with severe and persistent mental illness, services include case management and continued care, medication management with psychiatrist, crisis intervention assistance, and psychiatric rehabilitation which seeks to provide program services that assist clients in developing skills and manage resources needed to allow them to be successful in the community. A client centered, client directed form of treatment, the program consists of services designed to restore the disabled person to a level of functioning which permits a useful, meaningful life.

Outpatient Services | Lewis & Clark Behavioral Health Services

Outpatient Services - Individual therapy (for mental health or substance use), Family therapy, Group therapy, Medication management, Psychological assessments and testing, Commitment evaluations, Nursing home consultations, and 24-hour a day crisis intervention via crisis line. Walk in assessments available during regular business hours at the Yankton and Vermillion locations. CARE Club - Program for individuals with a mental health disability (i.e. schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety and borderline personality) who live in the community. CARE club provides support, assistance, interaction with others and the opportunity to improve consumers existing skills and develop new coping skills. Children's Services - Provides child centered therapeutic services in the home or office. This program provides mental health services to children with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). The parents, families, and surrogate families of children with SED participate in all aspects of evaluation, planning and delivery of services. Works closely with child-serving agencies and programs.

Covering topics such as abuse and/or sexual abuse, anger management, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD), depression, emotion and behavior regulation for children, grief and loss, life transition and adjustment issues, marriage and family issues, post traumatic stress (PTSD), relational violence/abuse, self-esteem, stress management, suicide intervention/crisis stabilization, teen problems, wellness counseling, and women's issues. Offers telehealth services. Family Pathways (Family Outreach Services) counselors providing intensive counseling and support services for children in community locations such as home or school. Psychiatric Services include assessments and medication management. CARE - Continuous Assistance, Rehabilitation, and Education services for adults with severe mental illness.

CARE Services | Dakota Counseling Institute

Aimed at helping people with a severe and persistent mental illness to live successfully in the community. This program stresses outreach to consumers and the provision of services according to the individual consumer's needs, and is available through Dakota Counseling Institute's Pathway program located in a separate building beside the main office in Mitchell. Each consumer is assigned a case manager who, with the active participation of the consumer, designs an individualized treatment plan outlining the various services which will be provided to reach individualized treatment goals. Examples of services provided are case management, medication management, crisis intervention housing assistance, linkage to appropriate community services, and telehealth services.

Mental Health Services | Northeastern Mental Health Center

Offers outpatient counseling services for individual, couple, and families. Staff members work with the client to provide services in the home, community, or office at the discretion of the client. Substance use evaluation, assessment, and treatment is also provided. Walk in assessments and telehealth services are available during normal business hours at the Aberdeen location. Psychiatric services are also available to those over the age of 18 including assessments and medication management.

Mental Health services include individual, couples and family counseling, 24-hour QMHP services, psychiatric evaluations and medication management, school consultations, and employee assistance programs (EAP). Alcohol and Drug Program treatment approach is based on the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous and reality therapy. Services offered include individual counseling, chemical assessments, DUI education program, outpatient treatment, prevention education program, and a relapse prevention group. Case Management and IMPACT Programs, designed to help clients with severe and persistent mental illness, services include case management and continued care, medication management with psychiatrist, crisis intervention assistance, and psychiatric rehabilitation which seeks to provide program services that assist clients in developing skills and manage resources needed to allow them to be successful in the community. A client centered, client directed form of treatment, the program consists of services designed to restore the disabled person to a level of functioning which permits a useful, meaningful life.
