Provides equine-assisted counseling conducted in an arena with a team including a mental health professional, an equine professional, and one or more horses for individuals, couples, families, or groups. Specializing in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), moral injury, trauma, addiction, grief and loss, abuse, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. Team building and professional development workshops are also available.

Crisis intervention, assessments, counseling, and case management services that help young people and their families overcome challenges and pave the way for an improved quality of life. Provides support to individuals suffering from mental health issues, alcohol and drug abuse, child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, and crime victimization. Offers Equine Draper Sensory Method Program which identifies specific brain waves and alters them through hemispheric brain and motion sequencing, and is scientifically proven to counter effects from PTSD, TBI, Dementia and chemical addictions. This program is offered to active, reserve, guard, veteran and immediate family members at no cost. Also offers Equestrian therapy and peer support groups.

Through exposure to nature, alternative healing and open communication the program utilizes peer-to-peer support to encourage physical and mental healing. Program includes blacksmithing, leatherwork, equine therapy, massages, hiking, cooking, and yoga therapy.

Providing equine therapy and a motorcycle rebuild program free of charge to veterans.

People with disabilities and those with challenging life circumstances can come to Joy Ranch to enjoy nature and participate in horse related activities and other experiences. Joy Ranch is a barrier free and stairway free environment that everyone can access. The general public is welcome to go horseback riding/take lessons, visit an 1880's town, reserve rooms for wedding ceremony/reception and corporate events, stay in a themed hotel room, and take part in meals offered.

Equine Assisted Counseling (EAC) is the combined use of horses, a licensed therapist, and a horse specialist working with clients to address various individual treatment goals. EAC is safe and all activities are done from the ground. No riding is involved.
