Pivot Point provides 24/7 crisis assessment and stabilization services for adults (18+) who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Services include a comprehensive mental health assessment, stabilization of acute psychiatric symptoms, the development of a safety plan, and connection to appropriate ongoing services and supports. There is no fee for services. Individuals in need of transportation to the facility may contact the facility or law enforcement to assist with transportation. Pivot Point is an Appropriate Regional Facility for the State of South Dakota offering safe, supportive services for individuals experiencing mental health crisis or thoughts of self-harm.

The Lifeline's Crisis and Text/Chat Service routes visitors to a network of crisis centers accredited in providing online emotional support. The Helpline Center's Suicide and Crisis Support is an accredited suicide prevention, intervention and after-care organization, delivering the hope and understanding you need. Services include call, text, chat 988 to connect with a 988 Crisis Counselor, grief support for individuals who have lost a loved one to suicide, and professional suicide awareness and prevention training.

An evidence-based, peer-to-peer suicide prevention program. Members of Hope Squad are nominated by their classmates as trustworthy and supportive peers with whom others feel comfortable. They are trained by Hope Squad advisors on how to notice, support, and intervene with peers who may be at risk. The main goals of the Hope Squad program are promoting a school and community culture of safety, connectedness, mental wellness, anti-bullying, and reducing mental health stigma. It reduces the risk of youth suicide through education, training, and peer intervention. They also respond to peer-to-peer disclosure of suicide risk. Hope Squad is present in schools nationally and internationally.
