Peer coaching is a recovery support system where coaches draw on their lived experiences to help others on their paths to wellness. A peer coach is a wellness partner who provides knowledge, support, skills and accountability, depending on each person's individual needs. The task force works together to develop and implement initiatives to raise awareness about suicide and mental health through prevention, intervention and education strategies for preventing suicide.
