The primary goal of all children's advocacy centers is to ensure that children disclosing abuse are not further victimized by the intervention systems designed to protect them. Children are referred to Child's Voice by law enforcement, Child Protective Services and medical professionals. Child's Voice uses a multidisciplinary team approach to evaluate children with suspected child abuse and neglect. This means that law enforcement, child protection, medical professionals, counselors, state's attorneys and victim advocates all work together to coordinate an effective response for the child and their family. Child's Voice provides forensic interviews, medical exams, family consultations, and advocacy.
