ERLS provides services to low-income residents with legal issues in the following areas of law: Domestic Violence Victims Elder Law Housing Public Entitlements (i.e. Medicaid, Food Stamps, TANF, WIC) Social Security/SSI Disability Veterans There is no guaranteed acceptance of any case. Provides Public Health Nursing and Maternal Child Healthcare Services through various programs. General public health services include professional nursing and nutrition information and guidance on health, safety, and nutrition for individuals, families, and communities. Services such as influenza vaccinations and screenings for blood pressure, hearing, vision, and hemoglobin are available at a fee. Maternal Child Healthcare provides Infant Sleep Safety services, immunizations, and pregnancy support services. Infant Sleep Safety services provide education on infant safe sleep practices and link families to resources when the purchase of a crib is a financial hardship. ​Immunizations services are available for children from birth through age 18 for all universally recommended vaccinations including influenza. The Vaccines for Children's Program provides vaccines for children who are uninsured, have insurance that does not cover vaccinations, are Medicaid eligible, or are Native American or Alaskan Native. For families with insurance coverage, the Department of Health is an in-network provider for Sanford, Avera/Dakotacare, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. ​Pregnancy Support Services include regular visits with a nurse to share information about pregnancy, to provide assistance in obtaining early and on-going prenatal care from a qualified healthcare provider, and to link women to resources they may need to support a healthy pregnancy. Teaching topics may include: how your body is changing and how your baby is growing; eating healthy and gaining the right amount of weight; warning signs or symptoms that indicate you should contact your doctor; breastfeeding education and support; and caring for you and your baby after delivery. The Watertown and Sisseton locations are also able to provide car seats for all ages at no cost.

TeamMates is a school-based, one-to-one mentoring program that matches adult volunteers with students who have indicated interest in having a mentor. The focus of the mentoring relationship is for a mentor to build a positive relationship with a student as a caring adult figure to help them reach their full potential. Volunteer mentors focus on the positives in students to help them succeed. Students in TeamMates reflect improvement in attendance, behavior referrals, and academic performance. Home care and home health services are a comprehensive approach to delivering both skilled and non-skilled care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. These services are designed to support patients in maintaining their independence, managing chronic conditions, recovering from illness or surgery, and improving overall health and quality of life. Skilled Services Home health care includes a range of skilled clinical services provided by licensed professionals. These services are typically prescribed by a physician and may include: Nursing Care - Monitoring health status, managing medications, wound care, and providing education on disease management. NOTE: Medication management alone is not a skilled need under Medicare guidelines. Physical Therapy - Assisting patients in regaining strength, mobility, and functional ability following illness, injury, or surgery. Occupational Therapy - Helping individuals improve their ability to perform daily activities and promoting adaptations to increase safety and independence at home. Speech Therapy - Addressing communication disorders, cognitive-linguistic impairments, and swallowing difficulties. Home Care Services Home care focuses on assisting with daily living activities and creating a safe, comfortable living environment. These services are typically provided by trained aides or caregivers and may include:

• Personal Care - Assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Homemaking Services - Support with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.
• Respite Care - Provided to give caregivers and loved ones relief.
• Adult Companionship - Focuses on providing social interaction, emotional support, and meaningful engagement.

The transitional living program consists of specific activities with goals to be accomplished in the following areas - life skills, employment, physical health, relationships, and spiritual growth. Each woman who chooses to go through the Passages Transformation Program must pay a program fee, agree to comply with the house rules, comply with nightly curfew, share in maintaining the household, complete random drug testing, join in-house Bible studies, participate in weekly Life Skills classes, attend weekly recovery meetings, and attend a Christian service of their choice.

ICAP Housing Services provides the following programs: Rapid Rehousing and Homeless Prevention Programs: aims to help two specific groups - persons who are at great risk of homelessness and those who have become homeless. Services that can be provided include case management, security deposit and rent assistance. These services are aimed at helping participants to retain their housing, therefore avoiding homelessness, or to re-enter appropriate permanent housing as quickly as possible. Housing Repair / Rehabilitation: Provides a zero-interest, five-year decreasing balance loan for eligible homeowners to be used for accessibility modifications for persons with disabilities, in addition to making necessary repairs for health, safety and code compliance. Self-Help Housing Rehabilitation: Eligible participants will work with program staff to identify their specific needs and to create a work plan. The Program Coordinator will find the best funding sources available to the homeowners and assist them throughout the process. Weatherization and Furnace Replacement Program: Aimed at making housing for low-income persons more energy-efficient and less costly for the residents. The residence is audited and a list of needs is developed. The program provides the materials and pays contractors for the labor to weatherize the home (caulk cracks, insulate, weather-strip, fix windows, etc.). Furnaces can be repaired or replaced, if not repairable, through the program. In addition, some inefficient/high-cost non-operating appliances (range / refrigerator / water heater) can also be replaced in certain circumstances. Homeless Rent and Deposit: Helping homeless households get into housing. Must provide steady and reliable source of income. Applicant must agree to case management services.

Diabetes Self-Management Workshop: workshop designed for people with prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, a family history of diabetes, and caregivers. Walk with Ease Workshop: a 6-week community-based walking program designed to engage participants to maintain a successful waking program. Workshops include health education, stretching, and group or self-guided walking. Enhance Fitness: group exercise program that helps older adults improve strength, balance, flexibility, and cardiovascular health. Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention: exercise program designed to improve balance, reduce pain, and lower the risk of falls. Aging Mastery Program (AMP): 10-week program that helps older adults build their own playbook for aging well.
