IRS Taxpayer Assistance Centers (TACs) offer personal, face-to-face help for tax issues that cannot be handled online or by phone. All TACs operate by appointment only.
When calling to schedule an appointment, customer service representatives are available 7:00am - 7:00pm, Monday - Friday. Before scheduling an appointment, please visit the website for a list of services offered at your chosen location.
For in-person meetings, plan to bring along a current government issued photo ID, a Taxpayer Identification Number, such as a Social Security number, and all necessary tax documents.
Offices do not accept cash as payment for tax bills.
Many of the services offered at Taxpayer Assistance Centers (TACs) are available online 24/7 and are continually updated with the latest information, useful tools, and other services to solve tax issues. Nearly every tax issue can now be resolved online or by phone from the convenience of your home or office.

Available to meet the clothing needs of children currently placed with a family through a licensing agency. This includes children in the foster care system, those placed in kinship care, those placed in safety plan placement, those placed in guardianship, and those who are adopted.
Families may access The Closet any time during a season or size change. Children may receive new pajamas, socks, and underwear every six months.
Families may receive all the necessities to make it through the first week of placement. During their first visit to The Closet, children will receive 7-10 days of clothing and welcome bag containing socks, underwear, pajamas, a pair of shoes, hygiene kit, new blanket, and a book.
Also provides seasonal items (winter gear, Halloween costumes, and school supplies) and baby equipment to assist families who are taking in infants.

American's with Disabilities Act: Serves as educators and consultants for contractors, businesses, organizations, and individuals regarding the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and its guidelines and requirements.
Assistive Daily Living Services: Provides services for people ages 18 and older, with physical disabilities affecting all four limbs, who need assistance with daily living activities. Services include program education and support and personal attendant services.
Home Again South Dakota: Provides options for older adults and/or people with disabilities living in nursing homes, hospitals, or long-term care facilities to enable them to successfully return to their homes and communities. Helps individuals identify barriers to living on their own, helps them find a place to live that meets their needs, and helps them find the services and supports they need to continue living independently.

Unclaimed bicycles are taken to the Mike Durfee State Prison in Springfield and refurbished by inmates as part of an inmate work program called Pedal Power from The Pen. Each year inmates fix up and repaint hundreds of bicycles to be put back into service by underprivileged kids across the state of South Dakota.

60's + Dining is a senior congregate meal program that provides a nutritious noon meal which reduces or prevents malnutrition, a major cause of other health problems. The program also provides socialization for the participants, which helps ease the problem of isolation among older persons.
Persons who are unable to leave their homes due to illness or frailty may receive a home-delivered meal, while those who are able to travel meet at a congregate site for their meals. Participants in the program are asked to make a donation for the meal, but no one is refused service if unable to do so.
Frozen Meal Program available to any client over 60. Quality, balanced, nutritious meals are flash frozen in specialty containers that can be heated in the microwave.
