Programs include Common Sense Parenting which is a step-by-step guide for raising responsible children and providing skills to help parents build strong, healthy families. General public health services include professional nursing and nutrition information and guidance on health, safety, and nutrition for individuals, families, and communities. Services such as influenza vaccinations and screenings for blood pressure, hearing, vision, and hemoglobin are available at a fee. Maternal Child Healthcare provides Infant Sleep Safety services, immunizations, and pregnancy support services. Infant Sleep Safety services provide education on infant safe sleep practices and link families to resources when the purchase of a crib is a financial hardship. ​Immunizations services are available for children from birth through age 18 for all universally recommended vaccinations including influenza. The Vaccines for Children's Program provides vaccines for children who are uninsured, have insurance that does not cover vaccinations, are Medicaid eligible, or are Native American or Alaskan Native. For families with insurance coverage, the Department of Health is an in-network provider for Sanford, Avera/Dakotacare, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. ​Pregnancy Support Services include regular visits with a nurse to share information about pregnancy, to provide assistance in obtaining early and on-going prenatal care from a qualified healthcare provider, and to link women to resources they may need to support a healthy pregnancy. Teaching topics may include: how your body is changing and how your baby is growing; eating healthy and gaining the right amount of weight; warning signs or symptoms that indicate you should contact your doctor; breastfeeding education and support; and caring for you and your baby after delivery. The Watertown location is also able to provide car seats for all ages when the purchase of a car seat is financial hardship.

A seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. Each GriefShare session includes a video seminar featuring top experts on grief and recovery subjects. These videos also include on-location video and the real-life stories of people who have experienced losses like yours. After viewing the video, there is small group discussion about the video. The group also allows for the opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a loss, learn about their experiences and have the opportunity to share personal experiences related to the loss.

Mental Health services include individual, couples and family counseling, 24-hour QMHP services, psychiatric evaluations and medication management, school consultations, and employee assistance programs (EAP). Alcohol and Drug Program treatment approach is based on the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous and reality therapy. Services offered include individual counseling, chemical assessments, DUI education program, outpatient treatment, prevention education program, and a relapse prevention group. Case Management and IMPACT Programs, designed to help clients with severe and persistent mental illness, services include case management and continued care, medication management with psychiatrist, crisis intervention assistance, and psychiatric rehabilitation which seeks to provide program services that assist clients in developing skills and manage resources needed to allow them to be successful in the community. A client centered, client directed form of treatment, the program consists of services designed to restore the disabled person to a level of functioning which permits a useful, meaningful life.

STEPS: Provides outreach and transportation for youth who need help removing barriers to housing, education, self-care, and community connections. This program also serves youth who are considered houseless (which could mean frequent runaway, couch surfing with friends or family, unaccompanied youth, living in hotels or in shelters). Safe Passage: Provides safety for youth as they travel to and from school through a trusted adult presence designed to be there for the youth and their families. The program helps identify any barriers each family faces to get their children to school, after-school programs, events, and partner programs in a timely and safe manner. Safe Passage allows the development of relationships with youth and their parents, intervenes in and mediates potential conflicts, and connects youth and their support systems to needed resources. High Risk Intervention (HRI): Program focuses on redirecting youth with a history of engaging in violent or gang-related behaviors into more positive youth-related activities.
