The City of Sioux Falls has a Customer Service Counter, located in the City Center which can provide the following business activities: Permitting (sidewalks, building, signs, fencing, etc.), Licensing (Arborists, Contractors), Applications (special events, weddings, recreation classes, sports leagues), Registration (rental housing), and Reservations (picnic shelters).

City Administrator - is the funnel for information between the City Council, City Staff, and State and Federal agencies. The City Administrator assists in the preparation of the annual City budget, recommends policy directions to the City Council, oversees long range planning, directing the activities of city departments and carries out all other duties as prescribed.
