The Network believes that the abuse of power in society fosters domestic violence, rape, gender inequality, racism, and poverty by perpetuating conditions in which certain groups benefit from the domination of others. Services include training and technical assistance to member domestic violence and sexual assault shelters and programs; law enforcement training; prosecutor project offering assistance to attorneys prosecuting cases involving domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking; rural outreach services; emergency services funding; information of local Sexual Assault Response Teams (SART); quarterly newsletter; and provides a statewide listing of shelters for victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault which can be found on the website.

Intensive, non-residential treatment program providing services to children who meet the states' Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED) criteria and would not be successful in less restrictive services. Also provides services to their families. Incorporating counseling, case management, and family support services, with the goal of assisting in the development of a nurturing and stable family environment in which children may grow. A counselor along with family, individuals supporting the family, and professionals will develop a customized treatment plan which will assist in meeting the needs of the child and family. Services provided to program participants include 24-hour crisis assistance, counseling services, chemical dependency screenings and assessments, case management, dedication management, psychiatric services, classes and workshops on mental health topics, early childhood mental health services, and play therapy for children ages 0 to 5. Some therapies offered in this program include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), and Aggression Replacement Therapy (ART).

Women to the Workforce - A career development program designed to help prepare participants to obtain employment. Participants will be assigned a mentor who will encourage and support her throughout the program, and will also attend sessions addressing a variety of topics such as: Organizing the job search Utilizing community resources Cover letters and resumes Putting your best foot forward Interview tips, techniques and feedback Tapestry Women's Career Network: A job retention program that addresses the needs of those navigating the workplace, but may not have a network to rely on to keep them engaged. Members work to achieve self-defined success in their careers and in life. Making Cent$ Financial Literacy Program: Focuses on women looking to get their financial house in order and ease a financial burden by creating a small cohort that meets monthly with local expert presenters that can provide a personal perspective about what is possible and address specific financial concerns. ​Women's Leadership Program: Facilitates the development of female leaders by utilizing the experiences and skills of established women. Women in any career field can benefit from this intensive course, which combines a strong personal development focus along with valuable professional development experiences.

The museum has more than 7,000 objects in its collection including paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures, textiles, and ceramics. The Museum Store features jewelry, beads, pottery, and original works of art by local and regional artists in addition to books on South Dakota history and culture, gifts, educational toys, and giclée prints of Harvey Dunn originals.

Run through the Center for Disabilities, located at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine, the Oyate Circle is a resource, education, outreach and training effort serving Native Americans with disabilities in South Dakota. In the Lakota language, Oyate translates as the people. Oyate Circle conducts education and outreach campaigns to heighten public awareness about the needs of Native Americans with disabilities, and to inform Native Americans and tribal communities about programs and opportunities available through the Oyate Circle and other institutions and agencies.

Get library services at library's bookmobile throughout the community. The Homebound Program helps those in the community gain access to library materials. Provides personalized selections delivered to the patron in their residence. There is no cost for this service. Delivery is limited to residents who live within Rapid City Area School District inside Pennington County. Other services include test proctoring, no-cost notary services, faxing, reference assistance, local history resources, and dial-a-story. Meeting and study rooms are also available. Low Income Organizing - Community Action Teams are volunteers organizing people to help themselves and others in the community. Prisoner Support Group - Activities are held for family support and monthly South Dakota Prison events. Youth Recreation - Swim passes and scholarships for camps, or other youth recreation activities. Available activity depends on site location. Children must be income eligible. The SEPRC works with others across the state to provide prevention resources, training and technical assistance through program development and training. Offers a 12-hour diversion class for individuals aged 17 - 20 years, designed for individuals who may be making high-risk choices and aim to change drinking and drug use behaviors.
