Bereavement services for family members is also available. Readjustment counseling is offered to make a successful transition from military to civilian life or after a traumatic event experienced in the military. Individual, group, couples, and family counseling is offered in addition to referral and connection to other VA or community benefits and services.

SHIFT Garage repairs vehicles for those in need, services include; Repairs older model cars for low-income families and/or single parent homes for whom a full repair bill from a conventional garage is not affordable Budgeting classes to the public Free oil changes for the spouses of deployed soldiers Costs of parts plus a refundable $50.00 fee are due at time of service. The fee will be refunded when clients attend the budgeting class. Please note: Repairs are limited to mechanical issues. Tires are not serviced, transmissions and internal engine issues are not serviced.

Qualified families who are accepted into this program have access to housing at the National Home in a single family home, a case worker to set goals and make plans for the future, educational, recreational, and enrichment opportunities, community resources and counseling referrals are provided as needed, and state-certified daycare services are provided free of charge for children five and under. This program is a phase-based program and could be 3-5 years but depends on the individual family.

NAMI Homefront is a free, 6-session class for family members of service members or veterans with mental health conditions. Offered online only.

The Objective Zero App connects service members, veterans, their families, and caregivers to peer and civilian support through voice, video and text and to mental health and wellness tools and resources. The app is free to download and free to use.

Also, a referral service and can point Veterans in the right direction for any information they may need in terms of accessing benefits, enrolling in VA health care, etc. Specialty is helping Veterans readjust successfully into civilian life, and provides counseling for a wide range of problems, from mental health issues like PTSD, depression, and anxiety to life stressor issues such as work-related or relationship difficulties. Provides free bereavement counseling for loved ones of service members who died while on active duty or Veterans who died by suicide.

The County Veterans Service Officer (CVSO) assists veterans, dependents, and survivors by providing information, assistance, counseling, and referrals on a wide range of subjects, benefits, and veteran programs. CVSO's are trained to provide information on the following topics: Transportation assistance to VA Appointments, Offers complete claims service and explanation of VA procedures, Provides follow-up service once a decision has been made, GI loans, Compensation and pension, Survivors benefits, Education benefits, On-the-job and apprenticeship training, State benefits, Social Security benefits, Employment and unemployment, Small business development information, Corrections of military records, Review of discharges, Medical and dental treatment, Hospitalization or outpatient treatment, Nursing home care, Residency at the State Veterans' Home, Rehabilitation, Information and payment assistance for alcoholism and drug dependency treatment, Burial benefits, Obtaining flags, and Information on community programs. Veterans are encouraged to register their discharge information (DD Form 214, Report of Separation) with the County Registrar of Deeds Office.

An inpatient alcohol, drug, and gambling treatment programs for adults. Care provided by: 24 hour nursing staff, a full-time psychologist, 24 hour on-call doctor, Certified chemical dependency counselors, and ASAM certified Addictionologists. Based on 12-step recovery model with medically monitored detoxification, Dual-diagnosis track with psychiatrist - For co-occurring disorders, diagnosis must be substance use primary and mental health secondary; Inpatient and outpatient gambling program with certified gambling counselors, Substance abuse, inhalant abuse and Methamphetamine treatment track (IMT), Chronic Pain Program, Medication Assisted Treatment - Different medications are available. Keystone utilizes Vivitrol and Naltrexone. May utilize Subutex and other medications to taper during medically monitored detoxification. Keystone does not utilize Methadone or Suboxone for maintenance. Unique services available are Native American cultural program (sweat lodge on site, talking circles, etc.), and a Spiritually based 12-step program. Veterans and retired military. Need to be referred through VA; able to take VA funding. Active duty military and dependents may utilize TRICARE West Insurance.

The Extended Care and Rehab Service Line includes the following services: Caregiver support group, spinal cord injury / disorder program, full suite of therapies, chiropractic care, integrative health services, adaptive sports, low vision and visually impaired services, inpatient community living center, pain management, whole health services, community living center, hospice/palliative Care, polytrauma/traumatic brain injury (TBI), geriatrics & extended care (GEC), medical foster home, and home health care.

Air Force Aid Society (AFAS) emergency assistance provides interest-free loans or grants to help stabilize a member's emergency financial situation based on the individuals needs such as: basic living expenses, vehicle expenses, funeral expenses, medical/dental, pet emergency surgery or treatment child care/respite, moving expenses, and miscellaneous expenses. Additionally, AFAS offers to active duty Air Force members only Falcon Loans of $500.00 or less that can be used for emergency needs such as basic living expenses, car repairs, or other approved needs. The streamlined application process for a Falcon Loan requires no budget information, or backup documentation. EMERGENCY TRAVEL - All emergency travel financial assistance required due to serious illness/death of an immediate family member, grandparent or other family relationship will be processed through the American Red Cross (ARC). Employment Assistance - Career planning, development of jobs search skills, interviewing, networking, and resume assistance. Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) - Provides information and referrals to local resources for Air Force Families with an exceptional family member (whether medical, emotional, physical or educational). Military and Family Life Counselor Program - Masters or doctorate-level licensed counselors provide short term, non-medical counseling services to service members and their families at no-cost (anger management, communication, relationship issues, conflict resolution, parenting, decision making skills, deployment stress, coping skills, homesickness, relocation adjustment, reintegration, separation, sadness, grief and loss). Personal Financial Management - Provides counseling and education with budget and savings management. This can be done in a one-to-one financial counseling setting or in a class. In conjunction with the American Center for Credit Education, provides classes such as Credit when Credit is Due, Money In Motion, and Home Buying classes for financial education. Readiness program - Assists military members and their families to prepare and go through deployments, TDY's, and remote tours. The Readiness program offers assistance with pre-deployment counseling, preparing practical aspects of separations, providing support to families, and offering reunion support.
