The helpline provides a place for concerned individuals to talk through a situation and explore the available options as well as gather information. The helpline is confidential and caller id is not utilized. The helpline receives inquiries from people sexually abusing children, people at risk to abuse, family/friends of abusers, family/friends of victims, family/friends of adults at-risk to abuse, adult survivors, as well as general information requests.

Qualified benefits are directly related to a veterans time serving their country. Examples of what VSO's can assist qualified citizens with ​​are: disability compensation, enrolling in VA Health Care, appeals, pension benefits, education information, submit requests for DD214's, burial benefits, correction of military records, survivor benefits, discharge upgrades, state benefits (states veteran home, state education benefits, and SD Bonus), and referrals. Veterans are encouraged to register their discharge information (DD Form 214, Report of Separation) with the County Registrar of Deeds Office.
