Christmas wreaths are not accepted. Commercial vendors and larger loads will not be accepted and must go directly to the Sioux Falls Sanitary Landfill.

South Dakotans age 60 and older who have an approved application will receive a monthly box of non-perishable food at no cost. Packages include a variety of foods, such as cheese, juice, oats, ready-to-eat cereal, rice, pasta, peanut butter, dry beans, canned meat, poultry, or fish, canned fruits and vegetables, and many times a canned entree such as beef stew or chili.
