First request for food assistance will be handled on a current needs basis following a short interview process with the coordinators of the food bank, the Pastor of Little White Church, or office secretary. An application for assistance will need to be completed providing contact information. A confidential record of usage will be maintained in the church office. Users of the Food Pantry will be provided bags of food for 3 consecutive weeks. This amount of food should help a struggling family or individual to get back on solid ground. Following the first 3 weeks, users of the Food Pantry can access usage of the Food Pantry every other week receiving 2 bags of food per person according to posted limitations. If there is a change in an individual's circumstances additional assistance may be considered at the direction of the coordinators of the food bank, the Pastor of Little White Church, or office secretary.

Pharmacy services include immunizations, prescription refills, health screenings, and a medication disposal drop box. - Medication disposal drop-boxes for expired, unused or unwanted controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter medications, including pet medications. Items that are NOT accepted include: trash, regulated medical waste, sharps, syringes, thermometers, hazardous waste, aerosols, illicit drugs, or commercial waste.

The Clay County Sheriff's Department protects the rights of the citizens within its jurisdiction to be free from criminal attacks, to be secure in their possessions and to live in peace. The Sheriff's Department provides the following services - 911 services, mental health holds, county jail, burning bans, free gun locks, prescription medication disposal box in the lobby, pistol permits, civil process to be served, fingerprinting for background checks, and maintain the Sex Offender Registry. A Critical Access Hospital equipped with medical/surgical, pediatric, intensive/coronary care, and swing bed/intermediate care. The Wagner Community Clinic is adjacent to the hospital making it convenient to see hospital patients, share laboratory services and other diagnostic equipment.

Glory House offers Remote Breath Testing. This is a personal breathalyzer machine that can be used in place of 24/7 or SCRAM. Remote breath testing allows for clients to complete testing in the comfort of their homes, while at work, or on vacation. It is completed based on 2x per day breathalyzers as well as random testing in between. Any person is allowed to use this program. If individuals are court ordered, the order will need to state they are approved to do services with Glory House. Online applications may be completed on the website.

CVSO's are trained to provide information on the following topics Transportation assistance to VA Appointments, Offers complete claims service and explanation of VA procedures. Provides follow-up service once a decision has been made. Also provides information on GI loans, Compensation and pension, Survivors benefits, Education benefits, On-the-job and apprenticeship training, State benefits, Social Security benefits, Employment and unemployment, Small business development information, Corrections of military records, Review of discharges, Medical and dental treatment, Hospitalization or outpatient treatment, Nursing home care, Residency at the State Veterans' Home, Rehabilitation, Information and payment assistance for alcoholism and drug dependency treatment, Burial benefits, Obtaining flags, and Information on community programs. Veterans are encouraged to register their discharge information (DD Form 214, Report of Separation) with the County Registrar of Deeds Office.
