The Historic Orpheum Theater opened in 1913 as a vaudeville house and seats just under 700 people. The elegant and beautifully preserved theater is known for its superb acoustics and hosts a variety of events including plays and concerts, business meetings, wedding ceremonies and receptions, and much more. The Orpheum Theater was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Orpheum Theater Center in downtown Sioux Falls features two distinct (and rentable) spaces: 686-seat Historic Orpheum Theater (built in 1913) Anne Zabel Studio Theater with room for up to 450 people The two spaces are all connected by a large lobby and concessions area, and the building also boasts an outdoor patio area. 60's + Dining is a senior congregate meal program that provides a nutritious noon meal which reduces or prevents malnutrition, a major cause of other health problems. The program also provides socialization for the participants, which helps ease the problem of isolation among older persons. Persons who are unable to leave their homes due to illness or frailty may receive a home-delivered meal, while those who are able to travel meet at a congregate site for their meals. Participants in the program are asked to make a donation for the meal, but no one is refused service if unable to do so. Frozen Meal Program available to any client over 60. Quality, balanced, nutritious meals are flash frozen in specialty containers that can be heated in the microwave.

Free Farmers' Market Table: Open to all community members to pick up fresh produce, food staples, bread, and sweets. This is held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays during regular business hours. Must provide initials and number of people in household at the reception desk. Come as needed but preferably only once a day.
